Texas Tourism Council Customer Service Training 

We are very excited to partner with the Cedar Hill Tourism Department to offer the Texas Tourism Council training on Customer Service. 
Everyone benefits from great internal and external customer service and each of our clients, guests and visitors in Cedar Hill deserve service experiences that are consistent, personalized and amazing.
The Texas Friendly customer service program was developed by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and is being offered free of charge to Cedar Hill businesses compliments of Visit Cedar Hill, Hillside Village and the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce.
The workshops focus on the six pillars of premier customer service:
  1. Make a good first impression
  2. Know your job

  3. Know your community

  4. Communicate clearly

  5. Handle problems effectively, and

  6. Make a good last impression

Margaret Hoogstra, Executive Director of the Texas Forts Trail and CEO of Authentic Texas Magazine® will lead the workshop. She is respected statewide as an innovative leader in promoting heritage tourism and Texas Friendly hospitality.
