Ambassadors are a dedicated group of members who represent the Chamber of Commerce in business and community, helping business owners grow their business.
At the Cedar Hill Chamber, we are always looking for opportunities to bring innovative and exciting training opportunities to our members and the community. The Ambassadors are a dedicated group of volunteers that serve as the public relations arm for the Chamber. They attend monthly Chamber events, ribbon cuttings, member events, and contact members on a regular basis just to name a few. They are an important part of welcoming new businesses to the community and new members to the Chamber.
Benefits of being part of the Ambassadors include exposure, relationship building, and networking opportunities. You may be the first face the business sees, or the first face from the Chamber they interact with. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your engagement with the community and build relationships with local businesses.
Ambassadors will be assigned 2-3 new Chamber members each quarter. During that quarter, you will connect with those new members at least 3 times - calling, visiting, and/or referring customers to that member.
You will be asked to attend Ribbon Cuttings for new members and attend at least one Chamber function each month. There will also be volunteer opportunities at large Chamber events.
