    TXDOT Update

    Loop 9

    • The project is environmentally cleared
    • TxDOT has started buying right of way
    • The first section between I-35E and I-45 will be a 2-lane 2-way frontage road, with future expansion as traffic warrants
    • Construction could begin in mid-2021 and take three years to complete

     

    The Southern Gateway  from I-30 to US 67 split & US 67 from IH 35E Split to I-20

    • $666 million Texas Clear Lanes project
    • Construction began early 2018
    • HOV lane closed this spring for the duration of the project
    • Work on Beckley, 8th Street and Marsalis bridges under way
    • Traffic shifts at the 35E/US 67 split
    • Estimated completion: Late 2021

     

    US 67, I-20 to Belt Line

    • Work began a year ago on the $59 million and is almost half complete
    • Project will widen road from four lanes to six lanes
    • Work includes intersection and operational/ramp improvements
    • Estimated completion: Fall 2019

     

    Interstate 35E/Lowest Stemmons from IH 30 to Oak Lawn

    • $79 million Texas Clear Lanes project
    • Project will build direct connect ramps to/from Dallas North Tollway and Woodall Rodgers, with additional connections from Woodall Rodgers to I-30
    • Most work being done outside of existing lanes
    • Construction began fall 2017
    • Project should be complete in fall 2020

     

    Interstate 35E/Waxahachie

    • $126.4 Million Project
    • Reconstruct and widen from 4 to 6 lanes
    • Work began March 2016
    • Estimated Completion in spring 2020
